A cold press juicer machine can be a great investment for anyone who wants to add more vegetables and fruit-based drinks to their diet. Cold pressed juices are higher in nutrients and taste better than traditional juice made with fast spinning blades, since they don’t lose all the heat-sensitive vitamins and minerals that can be lost to oxidation.
We tested and reviewed a number of different cold press juicers to find the best ones for making fresh, healthy juice at home. Our testers compared each model’s design, build quality, and functionality. They looked at how easy it was to put together, use, and take apart; whether or not it made a mess; how long it took to clean the parts; and how well it produced juice with little or no foam.
Squeezing out Perfection: A Comprehensive Cold Press Juicer Machine Review
The Vitamix 5800 is the best cold press juicer for beginners because it’s quiet, sturdy, and has a large chute that accommodates whole fruits and vegetables without any pre-chopping. It also can make sorbets, smoothies, and even plant-based milk. Even leafy greens, which are notoriously difficult for juicers to deal with, worked fine in this machine, and the oranges we made had beautiful color and viscous consistency. The one downside is that the smaller chute means it takes longer to get everything through, and occasionally some ingredients – like strawberries – need a nudge or reversing to be moved along.
This juicer is a little more expensive than others, but it’s easy to assemble and disassemble and doesn’t produce a lot of foam or leakage. It also has a handy reverse button to clear out the spout if it gets clogged.
