The Clinical Hospital Centre is the teaching base of the University of Rijeka School of Medicine. Departments include Pediatrics, Infectious Diseases, Maxillofacial Surgery, Dental Medicine, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Radiology, and Transfusion Medicine. The medical center has 1050 beds, including 124 in intensive care units. All of the hospital’s rooms are fully equipped with terry dressing gowns and bath towels.
