These programs help you convert the VRML 1.0 output of IGL Trace's 3D menu to other 3D file formats, such as VRML 2.0, POVRay, Truespace, etc.
- Crossroads 3D
- This Windows application was written by Keith Rule as a companion to his 1996 book 3D Graphic File Formats: A Programmers Reference. It can convert many formats and even allows you to view the 3D object. However, sometimes there are problems with large files.
- VRML1toVRML2
- This command line utility only converts VRML 1.0 to VRML 2.0, but it has been known to succeed on files where Crossroads failed.
